Need quail, pheasants,chukars or pigeon to train a dog

I have a friend that raises pheasants in the Racine area, S.E.WI and they are ready to go. If you want birds for training or just to get your dogs out early you can call him and set something up.

looking to take a few small orders for hen pheasants. birds are only chicks now just wondering if i need to get some more in the incubator. if i get enough orders i can also get some quail and chuckers going. any interst please pm me we are located in the fox valley area. thanks

I work for a farmer near Cedar Grove which is just south of Sheboygan. His dad raises some type of japanese quail, he's got a lot of em and i think he'd sell them pretty cheap. If your interested i can get the info and his number for you. I know he's been looking for dog trainers to sell to

Call Dan at Dark Acres by Whitewater. That's a short drive for you, nothing to it.  920-568-9604.  He has both Pheasants and Chuckars.  I just talked to him for the first time on Tuesday and I am goig to use him for sure.  I never knew the place was even there.... It's 5 miles from me.  Good guy from what I gathered on the phone.  Very helpful.

I tried Wern valley but you have to be a member to get training birds.

Did you try Wern Valley?  I think they will sell you pheasants or Chukars.

Just an FYI if some one would like to get some birds for training purposes. I have a friend that raises Pheasant for sale and he has still has about 200 birds he would like to sell. This is not a Pheasant game farm he just raises birds and sells them, you would need a place to release and shoot them and you would also need a training permit and leg tags that you can get from the DNR.

At this time he has approx: 75 Roosters and 125 hens and at this time he is asking $10 for roosters and $8 for hens and that price will go up at least $1 per bird by the end of this month because of feed prices.
