Spent the weekend up in Morson for walleye opener there wasn't a whole lot of boat traffic. I don't think they get to excited. we found ourselves with some a mixed bag of nice walleyes. crappies and perch, the smallies and northerns didn't make it in the boat. seems the fish really liked the Northland Fireball tipped with minnows, we didn't find our fish shallows by any means. the weather of course was awesome, rain, wind, but no snow that is a change.. It is odd, crossing over into Canada,, have a nice day, coming back into the states you feel like a criminal. and they forgot to put the ice pack in the cooler with the fish..
