Thought I would start this topic for anyone who has a tough situation involving themselves or a loved one. The power of a positive group like Lake-Link can help a lot.

You don't neccessarily have to respond, but please think some positive thoughts or say some prayers for the people involved. Please put them in your thoughts and prayers.

Doctors decided to bump surgery up and did the surgery yesterday afternoon. Surgery was 4 hours, and doctors are optimistic about his recovery. Only time will tell if there are any long term effects from the injury.

Thank you to everyone for your thoughts and prayers. This could have been a much worse outcome.

Could use some thoughts and prayers. My brother was in an accident at work today. He was hit/landed on by a 2000 pound piece of steel. It shattered his L3 vertebrate in his lower back. Luckily, as of now he has all feeling movement. However, because the vertebrate was shattered, doctors are going to have to go in and remove the fragments of bone from the spinal area. Surgery will likely be Thursday or Friday and will end with dcotors either fusing the vertebrate, or putting rods in his back. We are hoping for the best and know it could have been much worse than it is. Thanks, Muppert

could use a couple of prayers please, our mother (J&T's dad,bearchaser and myself)suffered from a stroke this past thursday morning, she was in a coma till today when she started to open her eyes and move a little.these are small steps on a big journey but its one we will walk together.I have seen what the power of lake-link prayers have done before and am asking for you help.thank you and God bless.W.o.W(doug)
