I wouldn't bet on it. I don't burn reformulated gasoline, and don't use Citgo products, and the pump price went up 10 cents this week, before the fire!

The old Labor Day (holiday weekend) screw job!

LOL Alpine. You really should find some alternative fuels for your feigned outrage machine. You wouldn't have to depend so much on foreign sources.

Roosky the angry little liberal, and then he accuses others of being the angry ones! Classic! Confusion combined with a self flattering as he seeks to build a better world!

7 you seem to be a more mellow guy, a little more level headed liberal? I am in no way a fan of chemical or other poisons being improperly used. But you see it isn't always the big bad conservative who is at fault, it is often the big dumb liberal.

Now as far as rising gas prices go, I'm against it!

Ha! I like the spunky attitude Alpine. A good Libertarian would allow proper investigation of all the effects of Round Up. Then once the negatives are accessed, would allow a full and healthy debate in a free and open court system.

But alas, you NEOCONS have given Monsanto immunity from criminal wrongdoings, and have closed the courts to all proper remedies from corporate injustice. Almost like other National Socialist countries have done.

Good luck on that coffee addiction, at least make yourself somewhat useful to that end result and fertilize some corn with it.., or something... Big Smile

Hey Alpine, is a Libertarian a Liberal in your mind? LOL, Only ones with different POVs than his. Everything needs to fit neatly into distinct categories with no gray lines otherwise the panic sets in and minds get blown.

I know self proclaimed Libertarians who are quite liberal, and I know some that are quite conservative. My understanding of what Libertarians stand for is based off of the word liberty. I would think they would want less government in their life, that is the only way to achieve any form of liberty. So no, I don't necessarily see a Libertarian as being liberal, although liberals like to hide behind such labels.

Being retired I probably drink too much coffee. Making up for all the years I didn't drink any. Other than water, it's about the only thing I drink though. Anger? That would be you, every time you yourself bring up an evil corporation....quit drinking the Round Up.

"Ethenal is the biggest waste of tax payers money in a long time."

Correct. It's all part of the cornoplia.

It's too late for foosdog to quit now, he has already soiled himself. He continues to sit in his own waste.

Yes, no doubt, gas, oil and coal are global commodities. So having more than anyone else, is a bad thing? This is how the typical liberal thinks, or doesn't think? It's been bad for Saudi Arabia to have been blessed with oil reserves? America would be no better off if we had great reserves of natural gas and oil, since it's all just a global commodity? Because oil and gas are global commodities it will make no difference to we the consumer if this country produces more than it can consume instead of the way it is now where we have to import 60% ?? Importing is better than or equal to exporting?? It's all equal whether we have no oil and gas or we are the greatest supplier and holder of reserves, just because it's a global commodity? Again, tell that to the Arab nations! This is the thought process of a liberal, or just any random dough head?

Jobs, revenue, and a vastly growing supply of energy is indeed a great thing for this country, and that is what the natural gas boom (along with a growing supply of oil reserves) will bring. Natural gas is going to be a game changer, we are the new Saudi Arabia in terms of nat gas. The infrastructure just needs to catch up, and that groundwork is in process.

And I have no idea who "Dave" is.

Hey Dave cough I mean Alphine, say what? You said it yourself that oil is sold globally so in essence there is no energy independence! you should quit now before you embarrass yourself more and need another handle... just sayin....
