Fathers Day!

What do all the dad's want for Father's Day this year? I'm getting the old man a Vexilar fl8 pro pack from The Bass Pro Shop. $199 ($299 normally) on clearance right now. That's a sweet deal. This will also help him catch more fish this ice season since his eyes are always glued to watching my flasher.

Looks like a real nice place Banks!! They had them Tomahawk steaks for sale at Berkots couple days ago for $6.99 lb. They looked real good too.

Kids and Grandkids came over Friday night ! I made steaks and drank margaritas all day yesterday !! Kinda paying for it at office today.

My youngest daughter got me this pop-up card and also a mini Dr. Suess book for Fathers Day (remembrance of her favorite book as a kid..."Hop on Pop").  I laughed, but it was pretty cool.  Both the card and book applies to many dads here on LL.

Happy Father's Day to all of you Linkers. I had to work today for 12 hours. Gonna fish tomorrow though and celebrate with a few cold ones!

son got my boat steering issue fixed today for father's day!! Late start, but look out, just need some time to go, lol.  Happy father's day lake linkers out there! take your kids fishing, best times & memories you will ever have, time spent together, take care.

Wanted to take the boat and go fishing.  My youngest and I got up early and tried to pick some strawberries instead.  1/4 mile from the berry patch my engine light came on and started blinking.  Low on oil…. Hmmm, 190k miles.  Betting rings are bad.  Fouled a plug.  Not looking forward to hearing the prognosis.  But, other than that, we got a few strawberries.
