The complimentary, non-gripe site

Hey all. I decided to try a little experiment. It seems that the gripe site just keeps chugging along. Someone on there nearly every day. I thought I would try to have a thread where we could talk about the positives in our fishing, lives whatever. Things we are greatful for, things we like instead of dislike...Happy things instead of what irritates us all. I have my doubts that this will last as long as the gripe site but I am hoping it will stick around for awhile and hopefully wash away some of the negative vibe running through the threads at the moment.

Must have done some great sandbagging and or cleanup.  Was open yesterday.

I’ve been invited to two different summer get togethers with old fraternity brothers from UWW. Another one took it upon himself to buy me a Foo Fighters ticket for a group outing in August. My summer is shaping up nicely. Good to connect with old friends.

As has been mentioned several times here and on the news its been a rough week of floods for people along the Wolf River in Shiocton, New London and Fremont. Volunteers are being sought to help residents clean their house, pretty much throw everything in dumpsters. Its dirty work of course but home dwellers cant t do it all themselves. Many are elderly, disabled  and people need help.  Samaritans Purse is organizing and recruiting volunteers. You can go to their website and sign up. Sign up is mandatory for multiple reasons and they dont take walk ons.  Help out if you can.

I went to the Jewel store today,  they had high life on sale along with just about every other brand. 15 bucks a case, had to buy two.  They also had Yuengling for the same price.  So I loaded uptwo 30 racks of high life and decided to only get a 12 of Yuengling cause I had never tried it and wanted to see if it was as good as advertised.  Well I'm happy to say I only got  a twelve pack and I'll use the rest of it for cooking.  Here's to the high life.   

MR. S. I have both, hand held fillet and a electric  fillet knife. I was good using both types. I'm wondering if someone asked me to clean their fish today,  I just hope I would not cut my own fingers  off! LOL!!!

I have a bubba L/Ion cordless filet knife. That thing is awesome. It makes cleaning a bunch of pan fish a breeze. 

When I signed up for Medicare a while back I skipped all the marketing crap from the so called Advantage offers and bought the best reputed Supplement not knowing they would buy me gym membership 12 months a year. Then for 12 a month I get the wife to join.  With winter settling in I am finally starting to use it.
