2.6 Mile Wide Tornado

The most recent EF5 tornado to hit Oklahoma City set a record for widest tornado ever measured. Take a drive in your town on a straight road for 2.6 miles. Then try to imagine a tornado with 295 mph winds and the damage it would do to your city. It's frigg'n mind blowing.

The twisters they get down there make the little ones we mostly get around here look like a fart in the wind.

Amen to that. And to not have someplace below ground to duck into when a terror like that arrives is equally mind-blowing.
