The 88 car should consider parking it for awhile after his lack of driving ability took out 12 of the 18 cars in today's test session.

Jeff Gordon is NOT parked for next weeks race. Not sure where that came from but here is his penalty:

Fined $100,000, docked 25 championship driver points and put on NASCAR probation until Dec. 31.

Brad K. fined $25k and put on probation for having a cell phone in the car. Ummm, wasn't it highly publicized that he had one in Daytona (when Montoya lit up the jet dryer) and everyone was laughing about his twitter following and cell phone pics during the delay? Seems sort of like selective rules enforcement to me.

As the You-tube video showed Gordon was a sitting duck, old tires and his car would not go, Boyer, with the bump from Newman, got the low inside position and passed him up, Johnson had outside position and was not giving ground leaving the 24 screwed. It was Martinsville short track racing at it's best. Boyer's move on the slower 24 was a move any driver with faster equipment would make. As always it's Jeffy's track, don't get in his way or race him hard. Homestead will prove interesting as retaliation is likely, think back to Brad K calling out Hendrick Racing on the illegal rear end set up. After that the next few races Hendrick cars were only par with the rest of the field and now they are sometimes dominant and then at times mediocre.

Hehehe.....

You'd think being a "champion" he'ed know how to wreak someone the first time. I think anyone and everyone from MWR should plaster Jeffy to the wall next week.. Smile

Conspiracy Theory Alert: Jimmy Johnson's teammates (Jr, Gordon, Kahne)will hang back next Sunday, staying behind the #48, to keep his position closer to the front. You read it hear first! Cool

This happens all the time, yet when Gordon does it, it's not OK? I didn't see it live, SINCE IT IS FOOTBALL SEASON., but I saw it on SPEED later. No, it is NOT right to do what Gordon did, but retaliation happens all the time.

I believe I heard that NECKCAR TV ratings are low, and dropping.

To stop the bleeding, NECKCAR has sold majority ownership to Vince McMahon of the WWE. Yawn

I knew good Ol'Bob would have sumtin to type after that one, he seems to love it when they are a wreak'in...

Seemed to me that Jeffey overreacted a tad on that one. Like a girl he had to rely on the pit team to save his boney little butt. Brad had one heck of a race to put the distance between him and Jimmy. It would take a great deal next week to "lose" the title for Brad, but if they all get to wreak'in, anything can happen.

Blaceice, I agree with your comments about Gordon... As far as KH to SHR, that doesn't surprise me at all. KH is best buddies with Tony Stewart, he even lets Tony play grabass with his wife ... Big Smile

Gordo showed his true colors today. Gutless act on the track and turns yellow and hides after. He better be parked next week. I fail to see how his actions were any different really than what Kyle Busch did last year. Whats good for a Gibbs driver better be good for a Hendrick driver. One another note Harvick to Stewart Haas suprises me a little. Ive sensed tension between KH and RC for a while but never thought Stewart Haas to be a player for him. No huge loss his best driving is behind him and he isn't a good teammate. Looks like we will see a flashback with the Dillon kid driving the #3 in Cup in 2014.

Ole Jeffy boy showed what a tool he really is, after all in his mind it is his track and NOBODY dare race him for position. Smiles all around when the 48 had to overdrive his underperforming car and wear out the equipment. Once Patrick was spun out by Burton and hit the wall NASCAR should of thrown the caution resulting in another GWC attempt. By the time the race had then run a few laps of caution and then the laps under green somebody may of ran out of fuel ( 29 ). A real favor for Childress one would have to gather. NASCAR should grow a pair and park the 24 for Homestead. It was a fortunate thing nobody was injured in the end of race crashes that would of been avoided with the caution and clean-up.
