I have to be in San Francisco next week, I am going to try and go early and attend the Sonoma Sprint Cup race.

Nationwide cars are up in Elkhart Lake this week, that would be fun to see.

I see Johnson is still whining about the black flag he got for jumping the restart. He should just man up and admit he blew it. He fell more than two car lengths behind the leader and then attempted to judge the restart. By doing so he would have the advantage of the extra few car lengths of acceleration to get ahead of the leader, a ploy he and some others regularly try. Montoya was smart enough to let him run away after he went past him on the restart earning him the black flag.

The wife and I were NASCAR fans but we are starting to think they have just turned it into a clown show. Danica gets the popular vote, who didn't see that coming? RIGGED! The penalties have become overboard too. Plus now they can fine a driver for speaking his mind. What a joke! Kiss my arse Mike Helton Kiss

The qualifying format for the All Star race was fun to watch. Seeing them enter the pit road at about 145mph and having to hit the pit box right looked like it took some skill. I had to chuckle went Jim Johnson blew right through the pit box.

I wish they would consider using that qualifying format for all the races.

I use to love NASCAR went to 3-5 races a yr spent money on my drivers gear ect there was a shift in the sport ever since the dale senior death (rip) no sure why the powers that b fine drivers for simple comments that don't hurt anyone they have taken the racing out of it and made it a mind numbing follow the leader type thing it seems like they tryin to make it more PC for the masses problem is its not a main stream sport never has been never Will I see NASCAR heading the way of indy cars sad to c a sport that was once awesome turn into what it has become

Just read the news - Dick Trickle went ahead and ate a bullet at the age of 71. Wow. One more of my childhood heroes gone.

I posted a couple years ago where Ca$hcar was driving themselves into the ground. They thought everyone wanted to see racing on 1 1/2 mile tracks instead of the short tracks where it started.

With the unsponsored cars out there Mrs. J2 could get her business slapped on a car rear panel at the Joliet race for a few hundred $$$$$$$$

I watched CashCar religiously for about 20 years until a few years ago. I haven't watched more than 5 minutes of it this year. I DO watch Speed Center and Wind Tunnel so I know what's going on. Crying, b****ing, pissing and moaning is what's going on.

Tony Stewart has become a total putz. NASCAR has become a joke, and not a very funny joke. If you think NASCAR is still popular, just check the stands at a Cup race.

Had to go back a month to find the NASCAR forum. Kind of funny being Toyota something race and no Toyotas near the front then a Toyota hits the wall and brings out a caution so maybe one can get close to the front. Conspiracy theory.
