iPhone Apps

This app is VERY precise (even up in Phillips, WI where my service is minimal). If you fish Lake Michigan, it can tell you speed, position, buoys, hazards, winds/tides, etc. My favorite part when trolling, you can actually track your path and look at where you went at the end of the day.

The Mendota buoy app is also nice, but that's specific to Mendota only.

"Watch ESPN" and "ESPN ScoreCenter".

"Google Earth"

"Urban Spoon" for local restaurants.

"Pandora" for streaming music.

"Weather Channel" is an upgrade to the basic weather app that I think comes standard on the iPhone.

"Shazam Encore" is a very cool app that identifies titles of songs by sound. You can even sing into the phone and it does a fairly good job of finding the song unless you really suck at singing.

And, of course, there are the game apps. "Angry Birds" is still my favorite but my son has "The Swamp People Game' app on his iTouch and that seems pretty cool.

Google top iPhone apps, you'll get multiple opiniions, then take it from there.

But to begin with, I'd start out with Find My iPhone.
