Made it out for a bit today, saw plenty of deer a few still holding. Was mainly looking down today, hoping to stumble onto some sheds. Was encouraged, found lots of sign, with little sign of others walking through the area. However came up empty handed. A few clips from the past. http://youtu.be/amLxoqMxQdk

New Buck for me, saw him bedded up across a pond, came around the other side, to get close, only to get busted by a second buck I never saw. Was able to get a few pics as the two of them were departing. Has the makings of being a decent buck next year.

Velvet buck broke off the other side. Living up to his nick name "Stubs" from last year. One pic of Stubs from last year included.

That pretty neat stuff Slayer! When I lived in Tosa I had some railroad tracks and a wooded area that butt up to my fence in the back yard. The deer there would tolerate me being in their space like that too....pretty cool. In winter I could see better out there better from the windows, would come home from work and have bucks bedded just beyond my fence. I once grunted a buck to the fence from my upstairs window with a grunt call. Gotta love the urban critters!! Wasn't a safe garden in the whole neighborhood! Cool Keep the pics and videos coming, love em!

Took a walk today once again plenty of doe, and the velvet buck, who has now broken off both tips. Here is a fall clip of the Milw Cnty 10ptr. At about the 2min mark if your volume is turned up you can hear him snort wheeze, more than likely he is not too happy with me being around, when he is behind the tree towards the end he looks very pissed. http://youtu.be/YtbIT7YYiNk

2012 archery season. Oct morning, this young ten came in displaying for a cpl smaller bucks that were behind me. Looks as though he just got out of his bed, still had frost on his back. http://youtu.be/Fhlq75JLecc
