I have recently been useing smaller musky topwater baits for smallmouth and have pretty sucessful. Does any one else purposely use musky baits for bass? And if so what baits?

ive caught and missed some 20 plus inch bass on the talley whacker..

Well any lure will catch big fish but, when nothing else works I can always trust in my musky topwaters

panfish poppers=big bass too. I think it's more of a eat whats there thing more than the size. It's all about timing more than the size.

I use plenty of bass baits for muskies...and not by my choice!!! I've caught some 50" class fish on horny toads, buzzbaits, and jerkbaits. It seems like the more expensive the bass bait...the more muskies like it!!!
