This might be a dumb question,but...
I'm shooting a 30 year old Bear II. I'm "new" to the sport, having bowhunted for a few years in my late teens/early 20's. It's been 25 years since I bowhunted... I'd like a new bow but really don't want to spend a crapload of money...
But Woodermans post reminds me of something I've been seeing on reviews and archery talk...guys who buy a new bow every year.
What? Do bowx "wear out" that fast? My 30 year old bow still shoots decent but it's big,loud,slow...I practiced at least an hour a day for probably 25 days in the 6 weeks before season opener. I practice a few days each week now. Am I "wearing it out" before I get around to buying a new one?
If I buy a pricey new bow,how long 'til I gotta buy a new one at the rate I'm using this one? I can't afford a new bow every year and still maintain my primary (walleye fishing) addiction in the level I'm accustomed to.
BTW,I AM looking for some some definitive ,comprehensive,HONEST source of reviews.
