many times creaks can come from the qcc's a light sanding with the finest grit sand paper and a little graphite powder will take care of the noise if it is the qcc's. I had it happen and it only would creak the first time I drew it back when shooting for a while. if I let the bow sit for a long time and then shoot it again, it would again creak the first time I shot it.
That lube attracts dirt, and its just a bandaid for a issue, I would really listen carefully at the limb pocket, sometimes limbpocket creaks can sound like its from the cam. if its a limbpocket creak it just needs the limbs removed, cleaned and a little grease under the limb in the pocket.
If its a Cam bearing or bushing depending on the model that needs replaceing,
Strings and cables can make noise on the cam, try Scorpion Venom string conditioner on the serving around the cam and see if it stops. one of my bows creeks on the top cam first shot of the day and thats it.
Best just to take it to a Good Proshop and get it looked at.
