I went on Saturday and thought it was really good. To be fair, earlier this winter I went to the Milwaukee Sports show and the Oconomowoc Lake Country Show and both of them where disappointing. Also, it has been almost 10 years since I've been to the Madison D&T. I agree there was a lot of gimmicky stuff, but there is a ton of that crap in the hunting industry these days. Everyone wants to buy some stupid do-dad so they can shot a B&C buck. I just don't blame people for trying to make a dollar if some knuckle head is willing to buy it, even if a knowledgeable hunter/woodsman wouldn't ever buy one. Just my opinion!

I went yesterday for the first time in several years and was really disapointed in it. Years past it was about the new products and the hunting shows. This year it was alot of booths selling a ton of cheap crap. I did manage to pick up a few great items from Wicked Tree Saws and TreeHopper so I was happy about that. Guess I will skip it the next few years unless I am in the market for some new gear at discounted prices.
