fuzzy targets

I know what you are talking about. When I shoot over 15 yards at paper targets and shooting X's my target gets fuzzy. When shooting at 30+ yards there is no thread the needle shots. I talked to the eye doctor, who said contacts would help, but I have a problem touching my eyes or Lasik. At this time he also said my eyes are not that bad so Lasik would be kind of a waist of money.

I can see the peep and sights crystal clear. It's everything down range that gets fuzzy. The peep lense does nothing for an astigmatism, it only enhances the sights. Any other ideas?

You may also consider going to a device like a "no-peep". I've had one for 6-7 years and really like it. It is a fiberoptic device that assures good eye alignment and assures no bow torquing is occuring. Takes a little time to set up, but now I don't even notice it. I practice out to 60 yds with it, and eliminates the low light peep issues as well as no other string attachments as well. Killed a bunch of deer in WI and a 5x5 bull in Colorado using it. Specialty archery peep and a verifier lens would probably help.
