need a polaris snomo mecanic

After allot of digging I found a way to clean the gas tank of a 92 Polaris sled. Remove tank from sled and drain, plug input and output ports. Add the following: 1/2-3/4 cup of Crosman BB's, some old Coleman fuel, a 1/2 bottle of carb cleaner, a little gas and shake and turn, when you think you are done with the shake and turn repeat. Drain the junk out including the broken bits of pick up line, yes it was that old and nasty. Repeat. The BB's can be removed with a magnet.

Now I need to find some SAE30R10 submersible fuel line. Any ideas ?

Found the fuel line at Franks Hardware.

Runs good now, need to do all of the adjustments and lube. Then wait for snow.

Next project the Wildcat in the same condition.

Funny how with two of these sleds the owners manual tells you that for certain adjustments and maint. you should take it to an authorized dealer. Then the manual tells you how to perform these procedures.

My main concern is how to get rid of 6 year old gas.

I think you did well. Sounds like you need some major carb/fuel system cleaning and you'll be fine.

I didn't want to open a new site. I do need some insight on some sleds. I just purchased 3 from my brother in law.

1) 94 Yamaha 600 with 2 up seating, runs fine.

2) 93 Wildcat 700. If primed it tries to fire, hasn't been run in over 6 years.

3) 92 500 Indy. Same won't fire, has spark. hasn't been run in over 7 years.

These are all in very good condition with less than 1,000 miles. I guess I have to proceed with replacing fuel lines and cleaning injectors and such. Any hints ?

These also came with a 2 place open trailer and a freight sled for my ice fishing gear. The trailer can be written off as a business expense of about $1,000.00, I paid $3,000.00 for the works, clothes helmets everything. How did I do ?

I have a very good mechanical apptitude so I will be fixing these myself.
