Atv Poker Run

Hi, The Castlerock Family Atv club of Mauston Wis. is planning its annual atv poker run for sat. Jan 30th. Its in the planning stage so more info to follow. But if you go by past yrs we had it on the frozen castlerock lake starting point was Shipwreck bay resort (10am? ). In the past the entry fee was $10 pr person included dinner. We had raffles & poker run cash prizes. We have averaged from 89 machines to 145 machines in the past so it is a fun event. Watch here for more up to date info when i get it.

January 26th! We got our reservations at castle rock motel!!! Lookin forward to the run. looks like we'll have good ice this year!! Was bummed last year got cancelled. Anyone else goin?

The CRFAC was looking forward to the annual get-together of our members, neighbors, and friends at our 10th Annual Castle Rock Family ATV Poker Run on Castle Rock Lake. Sadly, weather conditions have not cooperated this year. The ice environment on Castle Rock Lake is uncertain with some open water in selected areas. For that reason, CRFAC is cancelling its 10th Annual Poker Run scheduled for January 28, 2012 on Castle Rock Lake and hosted by Shipwreck Bay. Please forward this along. FYI, I just checked the clubs website and it appears that the poker run has been cancelled due to the ice conditions.

i agree with you big mac. We got our reservations in at the camelot motel! We're coming up on thursday, fishing thur and fri, and doing the run on sat. Cant wait!!

I have been to this ride 3 times. It is a good time, and the getting together with friends is always good. The one thing that I don't like, along with a few others is, there is just way to many people (and kids) packed in the bar when the ride is over! I understand it is put on by a Family ATV club, but when going to a bar, drinking, a bunch of adults and a late nigth are involved, I just think there should at least be an age minimum. Big Mac

Thanks for coming KB. Glad u had a good time. It was a perfect day, crisp, clear & not too cold. Also no ice heaves & nobody got hurt. we didnt win any poker hands but did win a raffle prize. How bout u? 2 ppl that registered at Splash won poker hands but didnt stick around to collect.. Hope to see u next yr. !30 registered this yr.

Thanks to the club for another great poker run! Met up with some old friends and made some new ones! Great times!

Any day on the lake is a great day! Hot , cold, summer , winter , spring or fall. lol
