Atv Purchase question

I am selling a boat and had someone offer me a partial trade for an atv. I have always wanted one and dont know much at all about them. Looking for anyones advice or feedback. What thay are offering is a '99 Polaris 500 with a plow. It sounds like its been used a handful of times mostly for plowing. Havent seen it in person bit the pictures dont look to bad. It has 348 hours and 3216 for miles, added new belt and battery this year. Can anyone tell me what this thing would be worth and also maybe what to look for if I do look at t. Thanks for any info,

You are rolling the dice taking that particular atv in trade.

You can look the value up on NADA.com to get a rough idea. If you go to this website look under Motorcycles for atv values. I don't know why but thats what you need to do. It looks to be somewhere between $1600 and $1900. I would also "bing" or "google" a review on that particular atv. What I found when buy my atv was that polaris had overheating issues. Ditto is right. That is a lot of plowing miles.

Can't help you on value but 3200 miles is a lot more than "used a handful of times" That's a lot of miles IMHO.
