ATVS for Sale??

Looking for used atv. used for riding around hunting farm checking cameras and maybe foodplots. doesnt have to look good as long as runs or close to it. im near joliet,IL and willing to drive. thnx

You can find junk anywhere, ebay, CL, trading post etc. The buyer has to have some responsibility! Use your head and don't rely on what somebody else says or does. Doesn't anyone want to take the effort and do their own homework?

Not all ATV's on CL are junk. Bought my '08 Polaris 500X2 with winch, plow, and had under 300 miles. Guy bought it for his girls to ride in the yard. Never saw a trail. Got it for under book value. I agree with keeping "ads" in the trading post. If you want to do this correctly please pay your membership fee and post away.

A lot of ATV's and snowmobiles on Craigs List are junky or abused equipment. Go to the manufacturer's websites and look up dealers. Check those dealers' websites and look thru their used inventory. Might cost a bit more but worth it. Or go to Kelly Blue Book and look up ATV's. Pick a make and model...and a year and see what they say they're worth. It'll help you have an understanding what certain makes, models, and age units are selling for. Like my 2007 Arctic Cat 650 H1 TRV. It only has 6 or 8 hundred miles on it (I'd have to go look), but is only worth around $4500....and it's still like new. Go with a 2-up unit also if you can. The longer wheelbase make the ride nicer...and better for hauling and packing equipment.
