i have one and fell in love with it, fast, smooth, corners well, reliable, great gas mileage, looks BA If you can buy a 00-02, they updated the electronics and has a better headlight and HO stator, 02 has DCS which is a huge plus with todays sh!tty fuel.......but with all that said you wont be dissappointed with any year srx

Yamaha made them 1998 thru 2002 (previously 1975 thru 1977). it is a true triple triple. These sled do fly and made excellent drag sleds. You can go to totallyamaha.com and they will tell you everything you would want to know. Awesome sleds! Dave

very fast reliable sleds. also handle fairly well too.
