I have a run stop switch on a '03 Magnum 335 that work intermittently, you have to hold it a certain way for it to work but if you let go it will stall. I wedged the end of a zip tie and was able to get back to the truck but I need to fix it. Anyone ever take one apart? I assume you have to take the handle grip off but from there not sure. Any helpful suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.

I have a repair manual on disc for 04's not 03's and it didn't go into any detail on the removal but if you ever need any other help drop me a line. I have a guess as to how to proceed.

Buy your replacement switch you need one anyway. Just by looking at it you then should be able to see how it goes in. My guess is the slider pops into a receiver on the switch itself. The switch is then held in the handle bar by 2 pressure retaining clips on each side of the switch with the connecting wires running inside the bar. Guess it will look like a switch you buy at autozone and you push it in the clips depress than pops back out when you have it in far enough. Good luck!
