Fished Turville Bay yesterday afternoon, have renamed it the "Dead Sea". We probably drilled 30+ holes, moved the shack four times, and never saw a fish. Tip ups sat idle.
I don't know where the Baitman found 25' in Turville Bay, the deepest we found was 7'. He must be on the other side of the fine muskie bar at the outer edge is all I can think of?
does anyone have info on fisheree on madison chain this weekend
Fished Turville yesterday from 3 to 6. Didn't do too well the first hour. I moved in closer to shore, about 50 yards out. Caught some nice gills between 7 - 12 inches. They hit pretty solid for about and hour. Caught 55, kept 15 of the larger. Caught all of them about a foot of the bottom in 25fow. Had one flag and lost it at the hole, nice walleye. I'll be going back again this next weekend.

Had my first chance to fish turville yesterday from about 11-3. The fish were biting very light and I had a hard time getting a hook into them, even a #16 marmooska. Ended up with 6 gills and 3 crappies. I was using chartreuse and switched to orange with equal success. All action on spikes. Keep moving and drill lots of holes. Lots of luck Jiffy

Fished Turville Bay 2/14 from 1:30 - 4:30PM. 5 FOW. Very slow. Caught 2 - 7" fish. Had about 5 very light hits. Fish only hit waxworms, they wouldn't touch spikes.
Fished here on 2/8 from 8:30 to 2:30. Took home 8 nice gills. Threw back a few little guys. Took a lot of patience, but the gills are still there. I was in about 5 feet of water. Had a couple of tip ups out for a while but no flags.
bullgill,
Are you SURE you were on Turville Bay??? Kidding. Nice crappie!! We were out from about 10 till 2:30. Lots of people, but from what I saw, only a few small gills coming up. Fished by the crowd for a while, then walked out off the point to the weed edge. We ended up with one monster 5" perch on a crappie minnow. Had the camera down most of time, but never saw a fish.
Think I'm going up to Devil's Lake this evening. There's an 11# 'eye in there calling my name. Uh huh.
