Fished the lake for the second time ever this weekend. Nice lake. Caught a few Hogger Large Mouths, they are fat in this lake. Caught a nice perch on big shinner and hook meant for pike, but he got it in his mouth. Would like to find the smallies.. Any tips on places to look would be appreciated.

All day, from 8AM. to 4PM. Got one legal bass on a worm(?) and two big enough bluegills. Lots of little gills and perch and bass. Kind of a poor day, but we know they are out there, saw them on the 'finder.

We catch smallies off the steep banks on northwest end of the lake, sometimes a few largemouth but mostly smallies, at least one legal per trip, many smaller tho. Jigging crawlers from the bank into @15ft. water

Went out yesterday moring from 7:15 until 12:15. Fished in 30 ft of water drifting into about 10 ft. Using crawlers and minnows. Caught about 15 gills with no size to them at all. Father did get a 30in Northern in about 25 ft of water right off the bottom. Just had a minnow sitting off the side of the boat and it hit hard. Started to get real hot out so we decided to leave early. Don't know where all of the bass have gone on this lake but just can't seem to find them this year. Any tips would be appreciated. Good luck and good fishing.

Was out yesterday early evening, somebody had just gotten a ticket for not following the "no wake" rule. Met a nice police officer from the town and chatted a bit about the restrictions etc...

Caught 3 largemouth. 17, 14, and 14, all on green pumpkin wacky rigs.

Was out yesterday from 7:30 a.m. until 1:30. Caught one smallie that was about 14" everything else was 9" to 10" smallies. Still had a lot of fun watching my daughter with the gills. She caught about 15 gills while also taking about a half hour nap. Overall just good to be on the water with grandpa and my daughter. Smile Smile Smile
