Can anyone tell me any good spots to fish from land on this lake? A friend of mine wanted to fish here, but I did not know where to go around this lake.
Below is a link to the WI DNR's website it tells all about the little jellyfish in Okauchee lake.

Hit Okauchee pretty hard the last four days. Tried everything from dissecting shallow cover to deep weedlines and points. We got some quality fish but bites were few and far between on Sunday and Monday. Tuesday during the tourney we caught 5 legals - the largest was 2.98 lbs and missed the money by 1/10th of a pound. My brother fished tonight and caught two over 4 lbs and a 40 inch musky. Figures... I will post his pics when I get them.

Out from 2:30-7:15 tonight. Fish were biting pretty good on the mainlake docks "near the river" on jigs. Water temps in the mid to upper 70's. Windblown side of the lake had the most action.
was out there Friday night after the big wind blew through. caught a few northern and a nice bass on bull dawgs, No musky though. The two guys i was with caught some nice bluegills and had to sort through the little ones.
Out this morning from 8:15am to 12:30pm.......managed to boat 4 bass and several small pike. Two of the bass were nice,a 17" for my buddy & a 19" for myself.I also lost another nice one at boat side, when it jumped and threw my spinnerbait. Fanastic morning to be on the lake.

Yes there is something that resembles a jellyfish that lives in freshwater. I did a google search on it and looks like it originates from the amazon, doesnt sound like it is dangerous to humans but I wouldnt go picking one up either. It will sting small fish. Just what we need another invasive. Some refer to it as a freshwater jellyfish but the actually name is c. sowerbyi The pic I saw looks very similar to the pic you posted.

Out panfishing today off my buddy's pier. More dink bluegill than usual. Finally switched to a bigger "bass-sized" popper. Had one giant green sunfish on, but lost him when I lifted him out of the water. Definitely upgrading from the ultralight next time.

Hello to all, Can anyone give me some information if there are any RV or campgrounds in the immediate area. we have an RV and want to stay close to the lake to fish for some muskies. We dont need electrical or water and we have a generator. Just need a place to park and stay. Please send me a PM so we don't clog this thread with any more non-fishing reports.
Thanks Gurski
Got out On Okauchee yesterday for morning run. The slow no wake is pretty nice, let me tell ya. Fishing at 10am on a sunny Saturday without a boat in site is something I can't ever remember enjoying, and I've been fishing Okauchee for a very long time.
Hit the water about 5am, and headed straight for some rocks. Picked up a pike and a nice smallmouth right away, then slowly, but consistently caught fish until the wind changed to the east.
Ended up with 10 bass and 9 pike. All from shallow water.
Water is high, dirty and algae stained to boot. My advice: fish slow with a perch or crawfish imitator.
