I was out on Sunday, first time on Kosh. I put in at the small bar on Blackhawk Island road around 9am. I fished up river in several different spots up past the bridge, I caught nothing. I went trolling planner boards on the main lake by Tibedeau point. I caught one stripper on a white Rapala minnow with a 1/4 oz. weight about 26" in front of the lure. I also caught 1 northern on a perch pattern shallow shad rap. I was trolling about 2.3 mph. At 3pm I fished the outlet by the I-90 bridge for about an hour, nothing... At 4:30 I went back to the inlet where I put in and fished for an other hour. I caught and released a 25 1/2" walleye on a fat head suspended about 6 ft off the bottom. What a long chilly day... Anyone have any advise for future visits.........?

We got 1 short eye and a white bass in the river yesterday. Then we went out to the rock pile and ended up with 3 more shorts, 1 keeper, 3 whites and a snake. Windy windy windy.

Went out trolling on saturday. Caught one shorty walleye on a firetiger shallow shad rap. Lost a brand new planer board that unclipped. Turned around to retrieve it and it was nowhere to be found. I have no clue where it went, this absolutely baffled me. Pulled lines up and looked for it for a good 30 minutes to never find it. If anyone came across it and would like to return it, I would greatly appreciate it. It was a yellow off-shore brand with a red night bobber attached to the flag for when I troll at night. I really hate losing a $35 set-up that is brand new. We decided to quit trolling after this and went in shallow to slip bobber, ended up catching a couple small northerns on fatheads. While anchored in a shallow back bay, we had a doe and fawn run right past us on shore that were being chased by a big buck. That was pretty comical and this was at high noon when it was reaching the upper 60's for temp. If anyone happened to stumble on my planer board, you can message me. Good luck fishing everyone.

Took my girls and buddy out from 9:30-2:15 for some trolling for walleyes on a beautiful day. Action didn't take long. While letting the first board out, we got a 26" northern, which we released. After that was a few short walleyes, 1 whitebass, another (short) northern, and finally 1 legal walleye as we were pulling in boards for the day. The legal was tagged by the DNR, so we took the measurements and will send it in. All fishing on cranks; firetiger didn't catch anything. Last day on the water for us, as the boat goes in storage for the winter. We had a great year so far fishing here and can't wait for safe ice.

Got out yesterday around 0730. We trolled from Dallmans point into Newville w/o a bump. Snagged into one that got off on the north side of the river. After a few passes we decided to try the rock pile. We picked up 1 short eye, 2 big white bass & 2 northerns (30" & 34"). Best lure by far was a #7 shallow shad rap in chartreuse/white 25' back off boards and 90' back on flat lines.

Frabil, the last time i was out was Sunday and the lake was around 50 and the river was a touch under that. Of course this week has been cold so it would be lower. Hope this helps.

Set out to troll the lake for a few hours with the dog Sunday afternoon. No wind, all sun, and only 3 other boats out trolling too. Within 10 minutes of setting my boards out I caught a 15" sauger. After that just a few short walleyes and one whitebass. Trolled crankbaits about 2 mph. Tried a variety of sizes, types, and colors. The fish seemed to prefer dark colors (firetiger worked good all summer). No fish for supper, but glad to be able to go fishing. I wish I could have had another person to run 3 more lines; I think we might have did a little better.

went out today from 630 till 1. Started off trolling on the lake and only caught 1 nice size catfish. Started getting windy so headed to the river around blackhawk and further to try some jigging. ended up with a sugar that was just short, a whitebass and another smaller catfish. I let the catfish go but was wondering if they are pretty good to eat?

Went out yesterday with my friend from work. Tried a little trolling didnt pick anything up. Switched to jigging. Ended up with 7 walleyes. One that was about 16 inches and I lost a dandy at the side of the boat. Had alot of tap and misses also. Not bad for 2 hours of fishing.

Take Care

Hoff
