Welcome! My name is Tom Christianson and I want to be YOUR guide for fishing the world famous Chippewa Flowage in Hayward, Wisconsin.

Having fished the Chippewa Flowage (or the Big Chip as it is affectionately known) for over 50 years, I have a passion for this truly beautiful body of water and the unique fishing experiences a Chippewa Flowage fishing trip provides and I want to share it with you. With many islands, bays, channels and 'secret places', this waterbody provides some of the finest walleye fishing in Wisconsin. Your fishing experience on the Chippewa Flowage with WalleyeMaxx will be in a 16 1/2' Lowe boat with a 50hp Mercury motor and WalleyeMaxx provides all the fishing gear needed for a great time.

While specializing in walleye fishing on the Chippewa Flowage, as a fully licensed and insured Wisconsin fishing guide, I also guide for bass, northern, panfish and musky. The largemouth and smallmouth bass populations are excellent and currently a major resource on the Flowage. The bluegills not only exploded in numbers but are available in an exceptional size structure. I look forward to sharing my knowledge of fishing for all these species with you so that after our time on the water, the information I have shared will expand and enhance your fishing enjoyment.

For your fishing experience on the Chippewa Flowage, WalleyeMaxx Guide Service will provide:

• 16 1/2 foot Lowe Boat with 50hp motor, with gas included
• Life vests
• Rods, reels and tackle for walleye
• (client may bring own walleye gear if desired - client must provide own musky gear)
• Fillet & package walleye and panfish
• Limited live bait

Clients will need to provide:

Current, valid Wisconsin fishing license Appropriate clothing (layers work best as weather conditions can change rapidly) Rain gear Sunglasses

Sunscreen Insect repellant Camera Snacks Water or soda
