Welcome to the majestic north woods of Northwestern Wisconsin! The Hayward Lakes area offers an endless variety of lakes, and fishing opportunities abound. Lakes are populated with fighting Musky, acrobatic smallmouth and largemouth bass. The elusive walleye prowls these waters as well.

Fishing guide Rich Simak has over 15 years experience as a fully licensed and insured fishing guide on Lac Courte O'Reilles, Grindstone Lake, Lake Namakagon, and the legendary Chippewa Flowage, as well as many of the area's other waters. Full (8hours) or half (4 hours) fishing days can be arranged.

Rich's guide service will provide an adventurous and educational experience while you enjoy the comfort of a 17 foot Lund Explorer powered by a 75 HP Mercury outboard. This boat is equipped with all the latest electronic advances in sport fishing. Rich will share his extensive knowledge of the lakes with the use of Humminbird's side imaging sonar technology. The Lund is outfitted with 2 sonar units and 3 GPS systems. Bow and Aft mounted Minn Kota trolling motors provide a total of 110 pounds of stealthy thrust to the system.

These technologies are employed to pursue a variety of species with a variety of tactics. We may troll for large predators day or night with the Off Shore Planer Board system. We may be navigating clear water rocky reefs with live bait rigs for smallmouth bass or probing weed edges with slip floats for walleye. Casting for Musky in their hidden lairs or searching largemouth in quiet bays you will learn new tactics as well as find great fishing locations.

So choose your preference to fishing adventure. All equipment and bait are provided…or bring your favorite lures, rods and reels. Just bring your camera and a valid Wisconsin fishing license. Children are always welcome.
