Nick's Guided Tours

My name is Nick Olson. I have over 30 years of fishing experience in Wisconsin. I am a well rounded angler in terms of techniques and lure knowledge that enable me to provide clients of all ages and skill level with a successful and enjoyable time on the water. The majority of my trips take place in Sauk, Juneau, and Adams counties. I specialize in Guided Trips for Bass, Walleye, Musky, stream Trout, and Crappies & Bluegills. I follow the best bites according to the seasons.

Hot Bites!

Jan – Early March – Slab Crappie, Bluegill, & White Bass hand- over- fist through the ice! Set tip ups for Pike & Walleyes too.

March-April - Wisconsin River Walleye Run. Day & Night trips available. Pre-spawn Lake Redstone/Dutch Hollow crappies!

May – Largemouth Bass on the Beds (catch & release please!) Brooke & Brown Trout in area streams, Crappies spawning in the shallows!

June-Aug – Focus on Largemouth & Smallmouth Bass on area lakes. Special trophy trips to the Warrens Area Cranberry Bogs (5 lbers common, 7 lbers possible!)

Sept – Nov – Pre winter feeding walleye, Small mouth & Musky on area lakes & rivers.

Dec – Back to the ice!

My goal is to help YOU improve your angling experiences at a reasonable rate, not just pay to watch me catch fish. When I’m not guiding, I work at Hartje’s in La Valle promoting and selling field-proven lures used on my guided trips.

Rates

• $175 for half day (4 hours)
• $250 full day
• *$25 for each additional angler.
