Join me a few hours before or after work, for a 1/2 day, or full day, to enjoy the outdoors! Fish the Madison chain of lakes - summer or winter - for panfish, bass, walleye, northern and BIG muskies! Join me in the spring and fall for turkey hunts, and during the fall for ducks and geese! You haven't truly experienced fishing or hunting, until you've fished or hunted with me!

Each trip is customized to meet your needs! All you need is your license.

Open Water:
I have fished on the Madison Chain and the Wisconsin River for 25 years. Catch great panfish, bass, walleye, northern & musky right here in Madison! Visit the Wisconsin River for great walleye & smallmouth fishing -- the Wisconsin River and Klus Guide Service produces the best small mouth fishing in the world! Catch your limit of panfish. We clean them all! 53 legal muskies caught in 2000 on Madison lakes!!

Klus Guide Service is located on Lake Waubesa so 2-3 hour "before or after work" adventures are convenient. Fishing trips available May through September.

Equipment:
I run a 1760 Tuffy Osprey with a 150 EFI Mercury outboard. All rods, tackle and bait is provided, bring your own equipment if desired. Items you need to bring; camera, raingear, lunch, beverages and a Wisconsin license is required.

Ice Fishing:
Kill cabin fever with heart pounding fishing action!
Catch your limit of perch, bluegills, northern & walleye! Bring your whole family for a day of fun! It's a great way to teach your kids how to enjoy & respect the outdoors. Call me for fishing trips December through March.

Turkey Hunting:
Turkey archery hunts are our specialty. Shotgun hunts are a given! 29 1/2 pound gobbler taken with the bow in 1999! "John talks turkey!" Get hands on with the latest in camouflage, calling techniques, and kill the gobbler of your dreams! When John starts calling, be careful you don't get run over!! Call for more details.
