Welcome to River Guiding Services we are second and third Generation guides that have honed their skills by spending countless number of hours on the Mississippi River and Lake Pepin. Thus, we are one of the longest running guide services on the Mississippi River for walleyes, northern, Bass and Catfish. We guide from Red Wing, MN to Winona MN which includes Pool 4, Pool 5, Pool 5a, and Pool 6. We want you to have memories for a lifetime.

Whether you are in the boat with Captain Jarrad or Captain Lee you will receive an education experience you will never forget. The Mississippi River changes daily and sometimes hourly so we want to teach you how we adapt with the daily fluctuations and season of the river. When done we would hope that you will have learned enough that you will feel comfortable navigating or fishing on your own with the knowledge you have learned from us. When fishing with us you will share the beauties of nature with all the creatures, great and small, that revolve around the Mississippi River and Lake Pepin.

About Us...

Captain Jarrad Fluekiger, the third generation guide, is one of the most well known guides along the Mississippi River and Lake Pepin. Along with his guiding, he is a professional walleye fisherman that has fished at many professional levels, such as, the FLW, Masters Walleye Circuit, and AIM.
His biggest accomplishment is finishing 4th in the FLW Championship in Moline, ILL. And has been ranked as high as 7th in the Nation. Captain Jarrad specialized in wingdam fishing, three-way trolling and suspended trolling. When Captain Jarrad is not chasing those elusive whitetails (walleyes) of the Mississippi River he is chasing the whitetails of Buffalo County, WI as a well know Buffalo County Outfitter. Buffalo County is known to be the #1 County in the country for trophy whitetails.
His father Captain Lee Fluekiger is another well know guide on the Mississippi River. A second-generation guide, Lee says he has taught his boys everything on how to fish the Mississippi River and Lake Pepin. Crafted with years and years of jig tying experience Captain Lee is also known for his great jig tying. Many of customers have caught some great fish with the jigs that Captain Lee has crafted. His specialties are vertical jigging, wingdam fishing, and pitching shorelines for those monster walleyes.

We supply all fishing poles and tackle so all you have to do is bring the appropriate fishing attire, camera, snacks (don't forget guide treats) and drinks. So hope along and join us for a day on the river so we can start making memories that will never be forgotten.
