I would like to thank you for taking the time to look at our services. At Unlimited Trophy Outfitters, we take great pride in giving our customers quality fishing trips. We offer our customers multi-species fishing trips year round… from fishing the "legendary" Chequamegon Bay for trophy smallmouth, trout, & salmon to fishing the big water walleyes… to ice fishing for big, head shaking trout and whitefish thru the ice in the Apostle Islands. We can also offer great trips fishing our many northern streams for trophy brown trout, beautiful steelheads, and don't forget about the native brook trout! We offer trips for all experience levels… from the well-seasoned angler to the beginner. I want guests to walk away knowing they had a quality trip and feeling that they learned something new with our time shared together. We take our fishing trips into some of the most beautiful, and at times, rugged country that the Midwest has to offer!

• LATE APRIL ICE OUT THRU MID MAY - Fishing for trophy pike with dead bait & trolling shallow water trout & salmon, and stream fishing for brown trout and steelhead..
• Mid MAY THRU JUNE - SGreat time of year for BIG fish and large quantities! Huge smallies, fat walleyes, big pike, and drag screaming brown trout on the streams.
• JULY THRU AUGUST - The mid-summer can be a great time of year for top water smallmouth, walleye, and pike. The best part is the "famed Hex hatch" for enormous brown trout at night.
• SEPTEMBER THRU NOVEMBER - Fall is one of the best times of year to land large quantities of fish and even some real hogs! It is also a great time of year for huge smallies, big brown trout, giant walleyes, and pike. You name it! It's game time!

CHEQUAMEGON BAY TROPHY Smallmouth Bass
Smallmouth Bass fishing on Lake Superior's Chequamegon Bay is known throughout the Midwest as one of the finest places for trophy class Smallmouth fishing. Chequamegon Bay has some of the finest, trophy size Smallmouth in the U.S. 80% of the fish landed are between 17-20 inches and weigh between 3 - 5 pounds! We boat fish that are over 6 lbs on most trips! Whether using spinning gear or fly rods, this is an action packed trip that will land you a trophy Smallmouth Bass of a lifetime! So if you are into huge Smallmouth look no further then Unlimited Trophy Outfitters for the finest smallmouth fishing around!

Northern pike - Fishing for northern pike on Chequamegon bay begins just after ice out which is around the last week of April. This is trophy time for big pike from ice out tell around mid-May. Then from mid-May thru the last part of August, it is fishing for numbers of average pike around 30 to 35 inches but bigger fish are always possible! From the last part of August thru October the bite just gets better! Try it for your chance at a trophy pike 40 plus inches! There are 45 to 50 inch pike in this body of water! It is catch & release only, in my boat, for these pike. These are big fish that need to be protected.

Walleye - Walleye trips are taken on the request of the customer. It all depends on what the customer is looking for. We can do trophy trips on Chequamegon Bay or go for action and eaters on some of the inland lakes or river systems in the area.

Stream Fishing - Our area has it all, when it comes to trout fishing on the streams! From great brown trout and brook trout fishing to lake-run Steelhead… our area is a trout fisherman's dream come true! We can do float trips for huge brown trout with fly rod or spinning gear on our larger river systems, or we can do walk-ins for the jewel of the north, the scrappy native brook trout, on our many remote brook trout streams. The Lake Superior tributaries offer a great experience chasing beautiful steelhead, which are a very powerful trout! We can do it all from just one area. So if you like stream fishing for trout… our area is a must visit for your bucket list!.

Lake Trout - The trophy of the deep for Lake Superior! This is extreme ice fishing! The enchantment of hooking a 20+ pound lake trout out of 200 feet of water and driving miles on the ice among the Apostle Islands shores is simply mesmerizing. Landing Lake Trout in 200 feet of water is what "bobbing" is all about. Most of the fish we land are 4-10 pounds, but bigger fish are always possible. We generally fish for 6-8 hours to allow for safe travel to and from our fishing areas.

CHEQUAMEGON BAY Ice Fishing...

The bay offers many opportunities for ice anglers to catch a mixed bag like no other area can! This trip is great fun with tip-ups going up and jig poles bending down you never know what may be on the end of the line! An average day on the ice, we can hook into everything from big walleye and smallmouth bass to big trout and salmon to big slab perch! We even have the opportunity to catch tasty smelt through the ice. You can also target and catch great tasting and scrappy whitefish and lake herring. You never know what will come to the hole when you set the hook on this body of water. This trip lasts from 6-8 hours a day and some days longer.

Shallow water or river mouth trout fishing Come join us as we explore the shallow water for big steelhead and brown trout! We sight fish these drag screaming torpedoes in 4 to 10 feet of water! We also offer great combination trips for brown trout and splake in and around the Apostle Islands of Lake Superior. This type of ice fishing for trout is an wonderful experience! Sight fishing for big lake-run trout through a 10 inch hole, peering down into the wintery world of the trout an experience you won't forget!
