Welcome to Northern Wisconsin's premier guide service, Hudson's On The Spot Guide Service. Located in Bayfield, WI, we specialize in multi-species trips on Chequamegon Bay, the Apostle Islands Region, and the South Shore of Lake Superior. We also fish a wide range of inland waters in Bayfield County for a multitude of species. Here at Hudson's On The Spot Guide Service, it is our philosophy to dedicate our time to provide each of our clients with a quality fishing experience. Not only to get you "On The Spot", but also allow you to learn and use cutting edge tactics to help you become a better angler.

Your fully licensed and insured USCG approved Captain, Jim Hudson was born and raised in the area you will be fishing and has dedicated his time to fish these waters extensively. This has allowed Jim to acquire a wealth of knowledge of the many fish species you will be fishing for, along with the best techniques used to find and catch your specie(s) of choice. Jim is a college graduate in the area of Natural Resources Management and is dedicated in the preservation of the natural resources and the sport of fishing. Also, Jim works closely with many of the companies that lead the way for the modern fisher, while being a recognizable face in the many top fishing publications and television shows.

Our trips include opportunities to fish for the world re-known Chequamegon Bay SmallMouth Bass, The best kept Walleye secret of the state, huge Lake Trout, Brown Trout, Splake, Steelhead, Coho Salmon, Musky, Perch, Bluegills, Crappie, and even Whitefish-Herring-and Smelt, both on the open water of through the ice.

Whether you are chasing the trophy of a lifetime, looking to get an on the water education, of just spending quality time with your friends and loved ones, Hudson's On The Spot Guide Service can cater the trip to meet your needs.

Trips include:

• Fishing from a spacious and comfortable, fully equipped, 2008 21' Tracker Tundra DC with 250 Mercury Opti-max and 9.9 Mercury Pro-Kicker.
• All USCG approved equipment along with being CPR/First Responder Certified
• Use of rods, reels, and all tackle needed for the days fishing (feel free to bring your own as well.)
• In the winter we fish from snowmobiles or ATV's (Depending on numbers of people, this may require you to have a form of transportation)
• Winter we fish from portable Fish Trap Houses, which all are supplied along with all necessary gear.

• Current WI fishing license w/ trout and or salmon stamp if needed
• Appropriate clothing for the season fished ( appropriate gear is always a must on Lake Superior)
• Sunblock (days), Bug Spray (evs.)
• Camera
• Snacks and Drinks
• Sunglasses
• PFA (Positive Fish Attitude)
