Walleyedan's Story...
Dan grew up fishing, hunting and trapping in Eden Prairie, MN back when it was still somewhat the prairie. His dad is an outdoorsman and taught Dan and brother John to appreciate the outdoors. They traveled to Brainerd, Cross Lake, Grand Rapids, Ely, Park Rapids and the Boundary Waters at different times throughout the summer and this is where Dan fell in love with the lake country of central and northern Minnesota. Gull Lake, in the Brainerd/Nisswa area became Dan's favorite lake because of the big walleye's that it produced year after year.

Dan started his guiding life in 1989 and has turned his passion into a business that is recognized throughout the state of Minnesota. Walleyedan's Guide Service is made up of some of the best multi-species fishing guides in the Minnesota fishing world. Walleyedan's Guide Service fished numerous lakes throughout the state including: Gull Lake, Pelican Lake, Whitefish, North Long, Mille Lacs, Red Lake and many, many others. Some excel at one species or another, but they are very good fishermen and also good people. If you book a guided fishing trip with one of these professional guides, you will more than likely be back again some day.

Open Water...
If you are looking to go solo on a fishing trip with one of our professional guides or bring the whole company/group on an outing, we can handle it. We will pick you up at your dock, meet you at the bait shop, resort or where ever it might be.

If it is walleye's, bass, pike, muskies, pan fish or trout we can show you the way. There are many lakes to chose from here in Minnesota and some of the best are right here in our backyard. Gull Lake, Mille Lacs, Pelican, Whitefish and North Long are just a sampling of the lakes that we can take you to. We also want you to know that we enjoy the novice angler as we do the "expert". Children are also welcome and we will do what ever we can to make sure the elderly or people with disablities can fish too. Ice Fishing...
If you are interested in trying your hand at ice fishing, we can offer you a variety of different experiences. We provide all the equipment you will need. All you need is a Minnesota fishing license and you will be good to go. We also have some deluxe fish houses that are on wheels and can be placed anywhere. If you want to rent an Eskimo portable fish house and pull it to your hot spot, you can do that. Call or email and let us know what you would like from your ice fishing adventure.
