Jim Stanzil Guide Service

Jim Stanzil has 26 years experience as a fishing guide. He won 1st Place in the Spring Classic Musky Tournament, 1t place in the Three Lakes Invitational, 5th place at Pauls Pro Am Musky Tour and 4th and 5th Place at Sugar Camp Walleye Tour.

Jim fishes out of Three Lakes Chain, Eagle River Chain and also Eagle River area within 20 miles.

He fishes for Muskie, Northern Pike, Walleye, Largemouth Bass, Small Mouth Bass, Crappies, Perch and all species at different times during the season.

Jim also does a lot of fly fishing brook trout and browns, night fishing for walleye during the ice fishing season, half and full days open water fishing mostly during daylight hours.

Children of any age are welcome as long as they are accompanied by a parent, half days are preferred for younger children.

Jim's boat is "handicap accessible".

Jim can also guide large groups and have follow along boats.

There is always a lot of action when fishing with Jim Stanzil, if the walleyes aren't biting then you will fish for crappies or perch and northerns but you can always expect to catch some fish with Jim.

About Your Trip
Jim's boat is a 18'6" Alumacraft Tournament with tiller steering, its powered by a 90 HP Evinrude Motor in addition to a tough boat he has Lorance GRAF, and a Minnkota trolling motor. St. Croix Rods and Shimano Reels are provided. Bait such as minnows, nite crawlers, and leeches provided at an extra cost.
