The Dumper Dan Sport Fishing Charter Service started it's first year of service in 1985 and is now one of the most popular full-time charter boats on Lake Michigan. Captain Dan Welsch was a first mate on other area charter boats for 7 years before he started his own business. His business consists of having a safe trip, pleasing his customers and plenty of good fishing action. Whether you have a little fishing experience or a lot, you are always welcome to join us in the battle against splashing and thrashing Brown Trout, energy-packed Coho Salmon, huge lunker Lake Trout, tail-dancing Rainbow Trout, and line peeling King Salmon. Individual groups, families (women & children), and small or large corporate group charters are always welcome.
You'll enjoy fishing aboard any one of our six tournament winning fully equipped matching Baha Cruisers Sportfishing boats. Our captains have over 100 years combined charter fishing experience and are DNR and US Coast Guard licensed. Our boats are fully insured and have all the latest in safety, fishing and navigational equipment, thus standing above the rest in the industry.
What do you need to bring?
- Wisconsin Fishing License and a Great Lakes Salmon Stamp (Stamp not needed on a two day license)
