Fishing Alaska's Kenai Peninsula
Come fish with the Kenai Peninsula's premier guide. Alaska's King, Sockeye and Silver (Coho) salmon, along with Rainbow Trout and Dolly Varden, offer a thrilling challenge and experience in some of the most senic wildlife areas in the world.
Scott Eggemeyer will be your guide for the day. He has been guiding the Kenai Peninsula since 1998 and has learned from some of the best. Scott is also US Coast Guard approved and carries all needed permits. We can also arrange lodging accommodations if you need them.
Charters with Alaska Bear Paw Drifters start at different times throughout the year and can be organized at the time of your booking.
We provide all you will need for the day on the river. All fishing gear, a hot lunch, waders and boots and a full day of fun. We ask you to bring yourself a raincoat, and a fishing license and King salmon Stamp if we are targeting them.
King Salmon
The first Salmon to return to Alaska waters are the mighty Kings or Chinook. Starting in mid-May we target these leviathans from our Willies Drift Boat on the Kasilof River and its big brother the Kenai.
We start our trips daily and at different times to take advantage of the tides. Come and enjoy a memorable day of chasing the biggest salmon in the Pacific Northwest.
Sockeye and Silver Salmon
The Red or Sockeye Salmon and the Silver or Coho Salmon are the most numerous Salmon to come back to the Kenai Peninsula. These fish can be caught on conventional tackle or fly rods. We generally combine and day of trout fishing along with salmon for these trips.
Rainbow Trout and Dolly Varden
The sport fish of fresh water has become of passion of Alaska Bear Paw Drifters. Whether you are an experienced fly fisher or never touched a fishing rod, these great leaping hard charging fish are waiting for you in the Kenai River.
Trip Rates
Full-Day rate is $250/person.
All trout trips after June 10 will have the opportunity to Combine with sockeye and silver salmon. Also trophy trout season in Alaska is May and September, so if big fish are your passion book these sought after dates soon. Please inform us if you have any allergies or food preferences upon your booking. Inquire about groups and multiple date packages.
A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. This is a non refundable deposit. Should you not be able to physically come on your date in may be applied to a later date one time.
