Nestled deep in the lush Wisconsin Northwoods, Nitschke's Northern Resort is the ultimate in beauty, serenity and excitement. This unique getaway is located on beautiful Lake Minocqua, Lake Kawaguesaga and the historic Bearskin Trail, supplying an overlook on one side of a vibrant wildflower wetland, and on the other a majestic aquatic view.

This resort offers more than your average getaway with the comforts of 'home away from home' plus the convenience and beauty of being directly on the water. All of our vacation homes are 3 to 7 bedrooms, 1,2 & 4 1/2 baths and are fully winterized complete with fireplace or fireplaces allowing year-round enjoyment of this stunning lakeside location. In wintertime, enjoy the additional convenience of 'up to your door' snowmobile access.

We have something for every member of your group to enjoy with activities like biking, swimming, volleyball, boating, shopping, having a bonfire at one of our split-log seating firepits, or even just dozing the stress away..

Our resort is mostly level and very safe for guests that require alternate means to get around. Our cabins are easily accessible as well as the beach, docks, boats, etc. making it a fun memorable experience for what sometimes could be challenging to say the least. Nitschke's Northern Resort is handicap friendly!

Accommodations

Located on beautiful Lake Minocqua, our resort currently consists of eighteen 3-7 bedroom vacation homes. Each home is 1300-4500 square feet and includes all of the following:

• Living Room
• Full Bath(s)
• Units are full furnished for housekeeping
• Large Level Sand Beach
• Boat Slip
• Cable TV
• Microwave Oven
• Large Four Season Sun Room with Fireplace
• Bed Linens are Provided

Our homes range from 1300-4500 square feet, 3 to 5 bedrooms with one, two and 4 1/2 baths, central air conditioning, sun decks, kitchen/dining/livingroom combinations, several with living room fireplaces and a four-season sunroom with free-standing gas fireplaces, picnic table and a charcoal grill.

Every unit has a numbered space at the docks. We supply all kitchen necessities, including: microwaves, coffee makers, linens, etc.. Each unit is fully landscaped. Every place has a wonderful view.
