The Cedar Lake Lodge setting is a tranquil, peaceful and beautiful wilderness. The fishing lodge is located on a 100 acre island on picturesque Cedar Lake. The lodge and cabins are nestled among the trees overlooking the water. Every cabin has a view of the lake. At the end of the day's activities, you can relax in your cabin or come to our comfortable, spacious main lodge - the gathering place for those sociable evenings where fishing and hunting tales are swapped. We also have video and satellite T.V. for your enjoyment. The lake and river system where we have built our Canada fishing lodge offers 6600 acres of prime Canada fishing and access to 15000 acres of the six adjoining lakes of the Cedar River Watershed without the need to portage.

Unspoiled, Remote Wilderness Fishing Lodge On The Cedar River Watershed: Travel to Cedar Lake for your next Canada fishing trip vacation. Cedar lake offers 6600 acres of protected waters and access to non portage lakes totalling 15,000 acres of waters defined as the Cedar River Watershed. Cedar Lake offers six game fish species due to the abundance of structure and natural food sources supplied by the watershed. Cedar Lake is an exceptional Walleye fishery, Smallmouth bass fishery, Northern Pike fishery and a class 'A' Muskie fishery where one has a good chance of catching Muskie over 50 inches. Nearby portage lakes offer lake trout fishing.

The waters are naturally protected as Cedar Lake is 19 miles long with a width generally 1/4 to 1/2 miles and occasionally up to one mile wide making it safe for boating. Our fishery is supplied by many small streams providing our unique eco system with never ending food source for larvae, minnows, bugs, invertebrates, bait fish and other creatures in the food chain that feed our game fish. We practice and encourage catch and release fishing and proper fish handling to protect our natural resource for generations to come.

FACILTIES
Our Canada fishing lodge cabins (log and frame construction), overlooking Cedar Lake, are spacious, comfortable, well equipped and clean to insure comfort on your next fishing trip. Our aluminum boats are equipped with dependable Yamaha motors so your fishing trip will be trouble free. Words cannot express the qualities of our fishing lodge and fishery.

We feature authentic and comfortable log cabins and have all modern conveniences - electricity, refrigerator, stove, running water, wood stove for heat and good beds with warm native blankets.

We furnish all necessary equipment, cooking utensils, dishes, bedding, all linens and wood. Although we are a north woods camp, all of our cabins are equipped with private bathrooms.

FISHING

Cedar Lake Lodge is an Ontario Canada housekeeping fishing lodge for fishermen, families and groups who demand first class fishing, equipment and accommodation and the convenience of a Drive To location. Our lodge and cabins are located near the community of Perrault Falls in Northwestern Ontario about 150 miles north of International Falls MN.

While most come for the Walleye fishing, our Muskie and Pike fishing is equally as good and when you get tired of the serious fishing, catch a mess of Jumbo Perch for dinner. Our fishery is one of the most prolific fisheries in Canada. Its size, management, structure, water quality and source of nutrients delivered by countless streams make the fishery more productive. Cedar lake is 6600 acres of water and provides boat access to 15000 acres of waters on adjoining lakes. The lake systems are narrow, from 1/4 to one mile wide providing protection in any weather. Cedar lake is nineteen miles long! The Muskie fishing is superb and the lake is so well rated, one can only keep Muskie that are 54" and over. We support catch and consume, catch and release fishing conservation practices.
