Spring is truly a fisherman’s delight. Whether you’re after Musky, Walleye, Panfish, Largemouth or Smallmouth Bass, dozens of nearby lakes are sure to keep even the most avid fisherman busy for days.

As summer approaches, the warmth of the sun brings the water temperature on North Twin Lake to the point where skiers, swimmers, and boaters can enjoy nearly 2800 wet acres. With so much water to explore, there is rarely a worry of the lake having too much traffic. Almost never too hot and humid to enjoy your favorite outdoor activities, the days are tailor made for the northwoods and all it has to offer.

Fall is a magical time of year here in Phelps. Situated as it is, deep inside the Nicolet National Forest, there is naturally a large abundance of trees. Combine all those trees with the cooling nighttime temperatures and you have the ingredients for what can only be described as a dazzling backdrop for hiking, or any of the other many outdoor activities available to you. The days are cool and the night air is crisp this time of year so don’t forget to pack your sweaters and sweatshirts.
