North Twin Lodge

We guarantee something for everyone at the North Twin Lodge. Although we're known for our spectacular fishing, our resort has so much more to offer for your entire group. Our water sports include kayaking, boating, swimming and canoeing. Bring your sailboats and wave runners for fun on the crystal clear waters of North Twin Lake.

You'll find sandy beaches for sunning and beach play, basketball courts, a softball field and recreation room with a jukebox, video games, ping pong and pool tables.

We invite you to end your days with cozy campfires in one of our campfire pits. Gather around to tell ghost stories, roast marshmallows, tell of the fish that were caught and the tall tales of those which got away! Those who have brought instruments to play are welcome to show off their campfire song repertoire!

Our Facilities

Located within the 650,000 acre Nicolet National Forest, North Twin Lodge is situated perfectly for enjoying the north woods. Hunters have easy access to huge expanses of deer, grouse and small game territory. Summer mountain bikers and hikers can utilize the many miles of marked trails, or they can strike off on their own on an old logging trail. Spring offers the opportunity to surprise a doe and her fawns and to view the multitude of wild flowers.

Summer turns the forest into a carpet and canopy of green. Trout streams secretly wind through the woods. Berry picking is great. Mother nature paints her best colors near the end of September, so don't forget your camera! The beauty of winter is unmatched. Enjoy the forests and the best groomed snowmobile trails in the world. Or put on those cross country skis and enjoy the peaceful serenity of the forest on nearby designated trails.

Don't forget to explore the trail system right here at the resort. Trails are cut in our woods for that nature hike with the kids or a warm-up loop on your cross country skis. Other resort facilities include a large sandbox, swing set, and tetherball for the kids. Volleyball, badminton, basketball, and horseshoes for everyone. A large recreation room with pool table, ping pong, video games and TV for rainy days.

Our Cabins
All cottages are totally electric. There is electric heat with individual thermostats in each room. Natural wood paneling and carpeting throughout. The cabins have big living room/dining areas and the kitchens are ultra modern with big stoves, refrigerators and microwaves. Toasters, coffee makers, pots, pans, dishes and silverware are all provided (Please bring your own bath/kitchen towels/soaps.).

Roomy baths with tub and showers. Large bedrooms with comfortable firm beds. The built in bunk beds in most units are very popular with the kids. Fresh linens, blankets and pillows are provided. Choose between 1, 2 or 2 1/2 bedroom units near the lake, or more remotely snuggled up against the woods. You will find your cottage spotlessly clean.

Ample parking space for your vehicle and boat/snowmobile trailer. Fire pits are located throughout the resort for your personal campfire and free firewood is provided. Picnic tables and Weber grills are right outside your door on the very spacious decks.

Boating
Whether you bring your own boat, or use one of ours (free of charge!) you will more than likely find yourself taking advantage of the North Twin Lake by boat.

For boat owners: we offer a complete docking facility for your boat with your own slip. Launching your boat here at the resort is easy and can accommodate crafts up to 20' in length. Premium unleaded gasoline is available on the premises.

If you didn't bring a boat with you, no worries! A boat is included in the cottage rental and we rent motors for $35 per day and $175 per week . Canoes and kayaks are also available at to charge to all of our guests to enjoy for a relaxing cruise along the shoreline. We also offer a pontoon boat which we rent to our guests for $75 per day and $400 per week . There is also a compressor available for you to pump up your rafts and inter tubes.
