About Us
Tomahawk is the natural vacation destination. We are proud of the natural resources we share with our neighbors and visitors.

We're a small town nestled in the Northwoods, surrounded by the beauty of God's country. We're a great place to vacation, but more important to us - we're a great place to live and work.

We have an excellent school system, over 20 churches of various denominations, and the amenities of a Wisconsin City. We continue to maintain our unique balance between tourism and industry, and work hard to promote Tomahawk as a great place to do business.

Our mission is for us to be dedicated to serving our Members and the community in the development, promotion and advocacy of tourism and business in Tomahawk and the surrounding area.

Trek the Northwoods Trails
Wisconsin's Price, Lincoln and Vilas counties are a bicyclist's dream, with over a million acres of public forest, thousands of miles of quiet roads and endless miles of beautiful woodland trails. The hills, ridges and valleys occur at a scale that is absolutely perfect for pedaling, and the thousands of gorgeous lakes, rivers and streams help to create the most spectacular scenery imaginable.

Mountain Biking
The region's many well-maintained, marked mountain biking trails are some of the best in the nation. You'll also find countless more miles of unmarked trails. Millions of acres of extraordinary and accessible wilderness—that's what you'll find when you Trek the Northwoods Trails.

Tour Biking
Thousands of miles of paved, lightly-traveled roads wind their way through this wild landscape. You'll also find many miles of paved trails that are closed to all motorized traffic, offering relaxing rides through some of the Northwoods' most spectacular scenery.

Lincoln County was made for bicycling. You'll find the perfect mix of rolling hills and picturesque farmland, as well as some of the wildest woodlands you'll find anywhere. With 101,000 acres of wild Lincoln County forest land and many miles of quiet country roads, you'll find no shortage of bicycling opportunities to enjoy.
