Mousseau's Island Lodge is on a remote island on beautiful Sturgeon Lake, Ontario. For the best of summer fishing and ice fishing, visit Mousseau's Island Lodge. Our island is approximately 16 miles from the public access and located about 400 miles north of Duluth, MN. Our personal service will insure your vacation is one to remember. We offer boat rental, guides, isolated beaches and sauna for your whole family's enjoyment. While there be sure to take time out to tour the abandoned gold mine, or just lay back and enjoy our plentiful beaches! Special family rates after July 1st.

Mousseau's Island Lodge has a screened in gazebo with full cooking facilities; perfect for meetings, parties and dining up to 35 people.

Evening meals are served family style for $18/person. Other great home cooked meals served at menu prices. Homemade bread and rolls are our specialties.

Come and enjoy a spectacular feast on Walleye Wednesdays. Don't leave without trying Rita's Trout bowl. Her secret recipe of fresh lake trout with a secret blend of herbs and spices.

Our cabins are supplied with dishes, pots, pans, refrigerator, stove, sheets and pillows. You'll feel right at home with our simple yet beautifully decorated cabins.

Sturgeon Lake - Famous for Trophy Lake Trout Action!
If you like fishing then this is the place for you! Sturgeon Lake is well known as one of Canada's premier Lake Trout fishing destinations. Not only is the average size impressive, but the action on Sturgeon Lake is excellent. It is also a very good Northern Pike Lake with the potential for 20Lb.+ fish. (see one caught by the Lake-Link guys to the right) Walleye fishing is also good, we have access to 6 different portage lakes were the walleye action is incredible! Guides are available or use one of our fishing boats.

The lodge is locate in the middle of several narrow fingers so fishing is possible even in windy conditions. Sturgeon lake is 52 miles long, covers 50,000 acres and is 305 feet deep.

Fall Partridge & Grouse Hunting
The woods around Sturgeon Lake are full of partridge and grouse with miles of remote trails to make hunting easier.
