The Oak Island Lodge

38 miles from the Main Lodge is the secluded Oak Island Lodge. It's on the same island as our Eagle Ridge Lodge. It's not uncommon to see bear, moose or a whitetail deer swimming when you're out fishing. If you like nature, you're going to love our Oak Island lodge.

This undisturbed remote island is a place where nature thrives. It's filled with bald eagles, deer, bear and the fishing is undoubtedly world class. In this part of the Lake of the Woods, there is abundant population of Walleye, Sauger, Northerns, Muskies, Smallmouth Bass, Perch, and big Slab Crappies. Minnesota's Department of Natural Resources has determined this to be a World-Class Fishery.

"From the Oak Island Lodge and Eagle Ridge Lodge, we fish more in Canadian waters and catch a greater variation of species than we do from the Main Lodge. We catch a lot of the big Muskies that can get over 60-inches. This lodge has the feel of a fly in lodge, it is tucked away in nature, it's amazing," said Sportsman's Lodges, Co-Owner, Gregg Hennum.

Our new log lodge, built right at the water's edge on Lake of the Woods, near the Minnesota - Canadian Border, offers a perfect base to explore from. After a full day's adventure, let us pamper you with all the latest conveniences in the warmth of a fantastic log home setting. Sleep in the comfort of your room in one of our beautifully appointed log homes that overlook the lake... no one said you have to rough it all the time.

Our guests may choose one of the luxury two and three bedroom condominiums or a two bedroom unit in our 4-plex. All suites have comfortable living areas with large windows overlooking the lake. All are fully modern, all electric, full plumbing, spacious and tastefully furnished to make your stay a truly memorable experience.

Our log lodge is a great place to enjoy cocktails, food, satellite TV, wireless internet access, a friendly game of pool or just gathering with friends.

Our menu offers a nice selection of breakfast, lunch and dinner items. Meals can be included in your vacation package. Our new store offers fishing licenses, limited groceries, pizzas, tackle and gifts. Come visit any time, we're open year around! Homespun Comfort

Our log accommodations will draw you in and make you feel welcome and comfortable. They all have two or three bedrooms with kitchens, gathering areas, and fully-modern bathrooms. This camp is a perfect setting for groups of all kinds. (Employee incentives, planning meetings, or family reunions.) A great place to create bonding experiences and focused, productive get-togethers. Our accommodations can hold up to 46 and 16 additional at our Eagle Ridge cabins just a short walk away from the lodge. This means you can easily have the entire camp reserved for your group alone.
