B&B Custom Fishing Rods are built entirely in Ripon Wisconsin and custom built for the specific angling needs of our customers. We build micro-ice rods to heavy powered musky rods and everything in between. Each rod is built for a specific customer with the options that best suits their fishing preferences and budget.

Each rod can be personalized with the angler's name and rod specifications. The customer chooses the thread colors used to wrap the rod. Satisfaction is guaranteed or a full refund will be issued if returned within 60 days of purchase (minus shipping charges). B&B Custom Fishing Rods have satisfied customers in nearly every state in the USA as well as five other countries.

We purchase a wide variety of quality blanks at wholesale prices. Those cost savings are then passed on to the customer. We build our rods on
St. Croix, Mud Hole Extreme, American, Batson/Rainshadow, Lamiglas, Winston, Orvis, Thomas and Thomas, and Sage brand blanks.

All rod grips are turned down on a rod lathe using either cork rings or EVA foam blocks to fit the customer's grip as well as the style of grip requested by the customer. We build straight and tapered grips as well as split grips and grips designed for anglers with disabilities.

Graphite arbors are incorporated into all spin and casting grips to greatly increase the sensitivity of bite detection over factory fishing rods. We also offer Fuji exposed reel seats for baiting casting rods and the Minnema exposed blank reel seats for spin and casting rods.

Guide placement is determined using the Fuji Concept Guide procedure as well as a static line deflection test. Traditional guides on top or spiral wrapped guides are available on bait casting and musky rods.

Theme Rods and Presentation Rods are also available. Conservation organizations are given a special discount if they order a custom rod for their organization's fund raising efforts.

B&B Custom Fishing Rods also offers rod repair services. We repair about 200 fishing rods per year and have nearly any matching replacement guide or tip top in stock. Broken guides and tip top replacement is offered along with reel seat and grip replacement or repair, ferrule repair, and in many cases broken blanks are also repaired using the latest in technology, materials, and training.

Rod building classes are held several times a year. We offer rod building classes complete with rod kits and all materials for small or large groups.
