Nakina Fly-in Fishing
We have fly-in outpost camps on lakes north of Nakina and in the heart of the best fishing region of Ontario. Ara Lake and Marshall Lake are secluded fly-in lakes, which have unbelievable fishing for Walleye and Northern Pike. Dusey Lake is a widening of the famous Dusey River, which runs into the Ogoki River, which runs into the Albany River and then into James Bay. Dusey Lake has incredible fishing for Walleye and Northern Pike with outstanding spring Brook Trout (Speckled Trout) fishing up stream at Loten Falls or downstream in the summer when water levels are safe. Teabeau Lake is a widening of the Albany River and is stuffed with Trophy Walleyes and Monster Northern Pike. Falls and rapids up and down river hold huge World-Class Trophy Brook Trout as well as a few cold springs running into the lake. The Albany River is known to have the best Brook Trout (Speckled Trout) fishing in Ontario. All fly-in camps have a satellite phone for emergency use only.

Teabeau Lake / Albany River Fly-in Outpost

Nakina Drive-to Fishing: We offer a Base Camp on Lower Twin Lake featuring a huge housekeeping cabin for large groups in a protected back bay or multiple housekeeping cabins on a raised sandy peninsula, which gives you a bird's eye view of the lake. From our basecamp you can fish Upper Twin Lake and Lower Twin Lake. Both lakes are connected by water and have great Walleye, Whitefish, Perch and Northern Pike fishing. There are also many streams and lakes in the area where you can drive to for Brook Trout as well as Walleye and Pike.

Upper & Lower Twin Lakes Base Camp

Drive-to Outpost Camp: We have a remote drive-to outpost cabin on Hanover Lake, which is best known as a trophy Northern Pike Lake. While at Hanover, you have the opportunity to fish a turquoise colored gem named Lucy Lake, which is stuffed with Splake. Splake is a cross between a Lake Trout and a Brook Trout. There are also lakes and rivers you can portage to with outstanding Walleye fishing. If you are seriously looking for a remote wilderness fishing trip with the best fishing for Walleye, Northern Pike, Brook Trout and Splake in Ontario, Seven Lakes Wilderness Camps is your best choice.

Hanover Lake & Lucy Lake Drive-to Outpost Camp

Hunting

Nakina Drive-to Black Bear Hunting:

We have a large Black Bear Hunting area (BMA), which is hundreds of square miles of prime Black Bear habitat and is contained within WMU 18A and WMU 19. Nakina is famed all over North America as the top fly-in fishing and Moose hunting hub in Ontario but surprisingly there are very few Black Bear Hunting Outfitters this far north. As a result, our hunting guests get to hunt a remote region with next to zero bear hunting pressure, which results in a high success rate and big trophy Black Bears. Bear hunting accommodations are primarily our drive-to cabins and drive-to outpost camp.

Ontario is the top destination in the World for Black Bear hunting. There are many conflicting reports but some researches have said the bear population in Ontario has risen to over 250,000 animals since the cancellation of the spring hunt. That's 1/3rd the population of Black Bears in all of Canada. There are so many bears that smaller bears are being pushed south by bigger dominant territorial bears. They are now showing up in Southern Ontario. Rural areas just north of Toronto are having bear
problems when Black Bears have not been seen there for over 130 years.

Nakina Drive-to & Fly-in Moose Hunting

Moose hunting north of Nakina is the best in Ontario and considered the top Moose hunting destination in Canada. The unusually high population of Moose in the region means the MNR has issued an unusually high number of adult Moose tags when they are hard to find anywhere else in Ontario. Seven Lakes Wilderness Camps has been issued adult Bull Moose tags & adult Cow Moose tags and can accommodate a Moose hunt for Rifle, Archery (Bow) and Black Powder (Muzzleloader) hunters in WMU 17, WMU 18A and WMU 18B. Moose hunts can be fly-in or drive-to. Ontario residents with their own tags are welcome to rent our cabins.

Nakina is the top Moose hunting destination in Ontario and maybe all of Canada. Due to the high population of Moose; we receive way more adult Moose tags than outfitters that are farther south. This is why we are able to provide archery (bow) hunts, rifle hunts and Muzzleloader hunts at a very reasonable price.

Both guided and unguided Moose hunting packages are available for WMU 17, WMU 18A and WMU 18B. Ontario residents with their own tags are welcome to rent one of our cabins if available.
