Let's Get Hooked

Green & Gold Guide Service is a fishing guide service located in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Jim Kleist is a guide for multiple species in Green Bay and its’ river system including the Fox, Menominee, Peshtigo, and Oconto rivers; for walleye lovers we frequent the Lake Winnebago on the Winnebago system.

Open water fishing starts in March on the major known spawning grounds of the Fox and Menominee rivers, and other less known "secret spots", reefs, and rivers in Green Bay. Join us to fish for walleyes in all stages of their migration in this incredible fishery covering Brown, Door, and Marinette Counties.

A trophy wall-hanger for the den is a nice plus, and taking fish home to eat is an integral part of sport angling. Trophy fishing is a specialty of our service for all levels of fishermen. “Our goal is to have a fun time and provide a rewarding day for our clients.”

We practice selective harvesting. Selective harvesting ensures good fishing for the future. "CPR" (Catch, Photograph, and Release) is also encouraged. Not every day is like a Sunday fishing show with limits of fish. “We want you to go home with some great fish, a big smile, and pictures to amaze your friends. You’ll have fishing stories to last a lifetime.”

Salmon and Trout Charters on Lake Michigan are also available, in addition to fishing trips on inland lakes and rivers for crappie, perch, and other panfish. Local ice-fishing trips on Green Bay and Northern Wisconsin are offered on a limited basis.
