We started baiting over the weekend. We are starting early so we have time to find new spots if our baits don't work out. I also heard this is the bear mating season. We are hoping to get a bear in bait area and keep him there.

Has anyone else started yet ?

I called Andes Candies the other day. They told me that they don't sell bear bait any more. Too bad. My brother in law bought chocolate covered berries for $35 a barrel.

I have a source for bakery but I'm still looking for sweets.

Thanks dodger12@lake-link.com

You guys that need bear bait need to call Andes Candies in Delavan. They have chocolate covered cherries & a few other things that bears love. I recently brought a load up North & don't know if I can fit another load into my schedule. I do live near their plant & maybe could facilitate some. I have my 300WSM set to go for next Fall in the U.P.. I should get a license there this year.

I'm still looking for bear bait, especially chocolate. I still have some time, not planning on starting until after turkey hunting has ended.

Thanks dodger12@charter.net
