FISHING REPORT
5/27/14 10:02 AM CST
Conditions: Sunny Air Temp: 76° - 80º F Water Temp: 71° - 75° F
Went out on Lake Emily Sunday afternoon going for some northern. Saw a lot of boats anchored in the west bay likely going after panfish. Cruised the south shoreline and caught 8 northern and had 6 other strikes on a black/gold twitchbait. Nothing of any size but they're still fun to catch! Lots of people joyriding in pontoons and even more people on the beach. Weather was absolutely beautiful and it was nice just to be out on the water.

FISHING REPORT
1/31/13 12:20 PM CST
Ice Depth: 14" Conditions: Sunny Air Temp: 21° - 25° F
Was out last Sunday with a buddy drove the car out and watched tipups, ended up with 8 flags around sunset but only 2 small northern about 20" were caught. Fished off the right side of the lake in about 15' FOW or so. Was a good 14 inches of ice(if not more) with about 10 other vehicles out there too.

Higgs, the population of walleye in this lake is very small, been fishing here pretty consistantly the last 5 years and have only caught one about 10 inches long, if you want to catch walleyes i would try the river where they are common, pretty rare here on emily

I used to live a few miles from there and I did get some outstanding gills out of deep water. If your coming onto the lake on the main landing, keep going until you see the lake neck down with a point on your right side. If you get into 20' to 30' of water in the area before the point juts out, you should find some nice gills and perch. Hope that description makes sense???

How is the ice on this lake I am wondering where it is safe and what area of the lake is the best for catching panfish and maybe some northern pike. Smile
