Went between the points drilling as I went out. Figured I would check the nite bite for the heck of it. Marked a few but after drilling through the snow cone ice I packed the stuff away tonight. Ice is done for after this week. Anyone have success at night for crappies... sure would be fun.
Thinking of going out ice fishing on Saturday morning with the daughter. Does anyone know how the bit has been in the bay? Any info would be great. This will be my daughter's 2nd time on the ice I would like to see her catch a fish.
Looking to go out fishing burbot was wondering if anybody could give me some pointers on where when and how never caught them before and my something that my son wants to do thank you I'll check the message board or private message me

Walked out late this morning and fished till later afternoon. Mainly stayed in the bay in the 7 to 9 ft range. Lots of lookers, managed a couple decent perch. Some real light bites. Waxies on jigs mainly used. Did head out on the lake for awhile in about 14 ft, couldn't get a whole lot going. Not many people out. Ice seemed good other than the sloppy snow on top. Looking forward to driving out again when the ice firms up. Good Fishing All!
